“THE ONE WHO OFFERS THANKSGIVING AS HIS SACRIFICE GLORIFIES ME…”
— Psalm 50:23

My loving Creator and perfect Father,
You are nearer than my very breath.
You know my every thought and deed.
Before a word is on my tongue, you know it all.
You know my needs before I even ask,
And your heart toward me is more generous than I can imagine.
You’re a good Father and the giver of every good gift.
I praise and thank you, Father in heaven,
For every good thing I’ve ever enjoyed has come to me from your hand.
What do I have that I have not received?
Everything is a gift, everything.

Jesus, you are King of kings and Lord of lords.
Rich in glory and unequaled in love.
I give you glory today and give you thanks.
There is no one like you, no one more worthy.
Your name is above every other name.
You’re in a class all by yourself,
Set apart as holy, great beyond measure.
You are faithful and true, holy and good,
just and merciful, strong and gentle.
And you have dealt bountifully with me,
I was lost, but you found me.
I was dead, but you raised me.
I was stuck, but you freed me.
I was marred by sin, but you cleansed me.
You set your hand upon me and made me new.
You made me alive and adopted me into your family.
In you, I am reconciled to the Father.
I’m filled with the Spirit.
I’m not what I was or would have been,
I am new and I am yours, today and forever.

Holy Spirit, what would I do without you?
You direct and you convict.
You empower and you refresh.
In you, I am being transformed,
Building character that reflects the living God.
Your fruit is so sweet, and I yearn for more.
Love, joy, peace and patience, let them come.
Kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control,
Mark me by these that your image would be seen on the earth.
Spirt of God, you have come and clothed me with power.
Again and again, you’ve filled me to overflow.
You’ve enabled me to speak for God in the presence of your people.
You’ve given wisdom and revelation that I did not have.
You taught and instructed me in the words of God.
You’ve reminded me that I am a beloved Son of God,
Able to rest and receive instead of perform or impress.
Holy Spirit, you keep me from temptation and deliver me from evil.
You lead me to repent or turn from sin.
In you, I have victory and power to overcome.

God, you’ve crowned this year with opportunity and open doors.
There have been plenty of losses and disappointments, struggles and pain.
Some of our prayers you delay to answer and we continue to wait.
But then you also do awesome things that we did not look for.
You are better than I know and more than I could ask for.
You are the treasure and true reward.
Your promises are my strength day after day.
You never fail and never forsake me.
I thank you for who are and what you do!
Your plans are wise and good, even when I’m too small to see them.

Show me more of your glory!
Open the eyes of my heart to behold you.
I want to see and know more of you,
Until my faith becomes sight.
Father, revive us again.
Bring your kingdom on earth as it is in heaven!
Pour fresh oil over me for the new assignments ahead.
Fan my gifts into a flame with passion for your name!
