Women are critical to the spread of the gospel. Jesus’ three main Gospel Patrons were women. The apostle Paul’s Gospel Patron was a woman. And my first Gospel Patron was also a woman!
I had just graduated from seminary and afterwards felt constrained to write these historical GP stories that had deeply inspired me. But I had no track record as a writer and no guarantee of success. GP was also a new idea that very few people understood or even knew about.
I faced plenty of doubts and fears. At times I wondered if I was just chasing a crazy dream. But before anybody else believed, my wonderful wife Renée did. She worked as an accountant to support us while I worked for nine months with no income doing the initial research.
