Last month Renée and I flew in for the 3rd National Conference of Gospel Patrons UK. When we landed at Heathrow, the airport TVs were highlighting a story about the rise of Christianity. This next generation is open and hungry. Bible sales are up significantly. Social media influencers are sharing their Christian faith online. Urban pastors are being trained and equipped throughout the city. And 23% of Londoners now attend church at least once a month! We are encouraged; yet there are still millions in London who have never heard the gospel and don’t know a single Christian.

As the gospel advances in any city, the great need will be for a strong network of Gospel Patrons to support and stand with the gospel proclaimers. By God’s amazing grace, that is exactly what’s been building in London for ten years. A team of six British leaders are now carrying Gospel Patrons across the UK.

If you live in the UK or have a friend who does, here are three upcoming GP events:

– Edinburgh – 24 February
– London – 10 March
– Oxford – 28 April

I also want to share our newest film about the origin story of Gospel Patrons UK! You’ll hear from the four initial leaders on their journey into generosity, the benefit of their friendships, and why a Gospel Patrons Chapter matters for London and beyond.
